On March 11th, the members of SCANDAL were busy updating their twitter with greetings like "Ittekimasu" ("I'll be going" in English). The band was preparing to depart on their Asia tour, and Tennis Indoor Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia would be their first stop.
The JpopAsia Indonesia Media Team teamed up with Indonesia Scandal Heaven to welcome them at SoekarnoHatta International Airport. That afternoon, the team stood alongside members of IDSH with specially made fanbooks and T-shirts to be given to SCANDAL as souvenirs.
When SCANDAL arrived, they were pleasantly surprised, happy to see fans at the airport greeting them in a country they had never visited before. Tomomi happily hugged the gifts from IDSH, even until they went inside the car that picked them up. She also took a picture of the gifts and shared it on her Twitter. Rina later expressed her gratitude via SCANDAL’s blog.
On March 13, SCANDAL went on stage for the highly anticipated concert. The girls were greeted by loud cheers that flooded the venue. Without wasting time, SCANDAL rocked the stage with their upbeat songs like "Harukaze" and "Shunkan Sentimental". Indonesian fans sang along non-stop with SCANDAL during the whole concert.
After every few songs, the members of SCANDAL spoke to the audience. They were thankful to be in Jakarta for the first time and felt very welcome. Haruna promised they would come back to Indonesia next time while raising her pinkie. All the fans cheered in joy and raised their pinkies as well.
At one point, Tomomi asked the audiences to spin their towels together in Bahasa, saying, "Putal (putar) handuknya!" ("Spin the towel!"). Although it's typically difficult for Japanese people to to pronounce the letter "L", Tomomi made it sound really funny with her super cute voice, repeating "Putal!" over and over as fans cheered along while spinning their towels.
During the concert, every member displayed great music skills and interesting stage acts. In many songs, the members would move in sync fitting the choreography, creating a visual spectacle. The band sang almost non-stop, going backstage only after 14 songs.
The audience was not ready for SCANDAL to leave. The fans' screams for an encore finally brought them back to the stage, performing two more songs. Fans sang along with them until the end of the concert. As the concert ended, SCANDAL has some final words for the crowd and thanked them for coming.
